Palo Alto Networks is warning that artificial intelligence-driven cyberattacks could soon become a routine threat for businesses worldwide, as rapidly evolving AI models give hackers unprecedented capabilities to discover and exploit software weaknesses at scale.
According to Lee Klarich, the company’s chief product officer and technology leader, organizations now face a very limited window to strengthen cybersecurity defenses before AI-assisted hacking becomes widespread across industries.
Klarich said businesses may only have a “three-to-five-month window” to get ahead of increasingly sophisticated AI-powered exploits before they begin reshaping the cyber threat landscape permanently.
